Film Screening + Talk Back: Zurawski v Texas

The film reveals the dire impact of losing access to healthcare – and the extraordinary efforts of the folks fighting on the front lines to regain those rights.
Following the film, we’ll hear about current efforts around reproductive rights.

Pro Bono Clinic
Join us for a pro bono clinic featuring the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights and Together & Free. This session is more than just a pro bono project—it’s a powerful call to collective action. Join us in making a difference for immigrant children who were separated from their families at the U.S. border between 2017 and 2021. During this clinic, you will have the opportunity to help these families renew their applications for humanitarian parole, exercising their rights under a class action settlement when they have otherwise been cut off from accessible legal services.
To participate, please sign up in the conference app (launching soon), complete a 1-hour on-demand training before the clinic, and bring your laptop with Adobe Acrobat. With only 20 spots available, this is a unique chance to contribute to a meaningful cause. Additional details will be provided in the conference app.

Defending Rights, Upholding the Law: The Role of State Attorneys General in a Shifting Legal Landscape
As the relationship between federal and state governments shifts, state attorneys general (AGs) have become increasingly vital in shaping and defending the rights of individuals and the integrity of democratic institutions.
Our panelists will illuminate the unique powers and responsibilities held at the state level, and how their offices use the law to protect civil rights, promote accountability, and ensure justice. Attendees will come away with a deeper understanding of the impact state AGs can have, and how lawyers, in both the public and private sectors, can support and participate in these critical efforts.

We’ll explore evolving technology and responsible AI policies, risks (including hallucinations and bias), and records retention and the proliferation of data. Whether you're advising clients, managing firm operations, or shaping policy, this session will help you stay ahead of the curve—and protect what matters most.

Navigating the New DEI Landscape
The legal and cultural landscape surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is rapidly transforming. In 2025, employers face heightened scrutiny, evolving compliance standards, and growing political and public debate over the role of DEI in the workplace. This session will explore how law firms and legal departments can navigate these changes while staying true to their values and legal obligations.
We’ll examine recent federal executive orders and Department of Justice actions that are reshaping how DEI programs are interpreted and enforced. Panelists will also discuss how to align public DEI commitments with internal policies to avoid reputational and legal pitfalls.
